A range of spaces at the Community Centre are available for casual and ongoing hire to promote an engaged, resourced and active community.

Church Gallery

Light-filled open space suitable for presentations, workshops, movement activities and exhibitions.

Floor space 6 x 9m.

COVID capacity Phase 4 = 26p

Air conditioned, chairs, tables, whiteboard, art-hanging systems.

Vinyl flooring (carpet rugs may be rolled out). Large wall for projection.

Universal access toilet nearby.

Washhouse Art Space

Retaining the name from its original use as the laundry area for the Old Hospital, this light-filled creative workspace consists of two connected rooms (5×4 and 5×4.5m).

Floor space 5 x 8.5m.

COVID capacity Phase 4 = 24p

Trestle tables, plastic chairs, one sink. Concrete floor.

Toilets in the main building, next door.

Main Meeting Room

A large adaptable space in the Main Building, suitable for meetings, workshops and small group activities.

Floor space 4.5 x 9m

Air conditioned, tables, chairs, whiteboard. (Non-COVID capacity 25-30p)

Toilets opposite.

Also in the Main Building, this room is slightly smaller than the Main Meeting Room.

Casual Office

Located along the back verandah of the Main Building, this space is suited for small meetings, counselling and office work.

Air conditioned, office desk, office chair, two arm chairs, 2-seater couch and coffee table. As with all the hireable spaces at the Community Centre, you will need to arrange your own wifi access if required.

COMMErcial kitchen

Stainless steel kitchen with commercial gas oven, exhaust, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, urn.

Floor space 5 x 6m

Specific conditions apply to hiring this kitchen and Shire permits are required for production of saleable goods. Please refer to Kitchen Hire Information Sheet.

Note, BYO (bring your own) for all utensils, boards and other equipment.
