Local and customised support for older residents in our community to live independently at home

Margaret River Community Centre offers a Staying in Place Aged Care and Community Service for residents from Cowaramup to Forest Grove.

Staying in Place functions as a 3-way agreement between the Community Centre, licenced aged care service provider InCasa, and support worker platform Mable.  The program is supported by the Department of Health and Ageing as an alternative service model that utilises local community knowledge and skills for coordination, management, and services.

The Staying in Place Coordinator can tailor personalised support designed to assist older people to maintain a healthy, safe, and independent life at home for as long as possible. The Staying in Place program offers income opportunities for local people.
