What We Do
Margaret River Community Centre Inc is a not-for-profit organisation that operates:
* Margaret River Community Centre (a community services hub) and Soup Kitchen
* Margaret River Community Centre for Children
* Margaret River Community Centre for Seniors and Staying in Place (aged care support)
and conserves the values of the Old Hospital Heritage Precinct
Margaret River Community Centre promotes the well-being of all members of society by supporting equality, social justice, community enhancement and connection.
Rooms to Hire
Meetings rooms, small offices, exhibition and art spaces, as well as a commercial kitchen are available to hire at great rates. More
Child Care
As well as hosting child health, Toy Library and Playgroup, we operate the Margaret River Community Centre for Children, a nurturing childcare service for 0-5 year olds. More
Soup Kitchen
Come along for a nutritious vegan meal, served from 5pm on Mondays and Weds all year round. Takeaway only during Covid-restrictions. More
Emergency Relief
We provide a safety net if you are experiencing financial distress and hardship. More
Tenants
Our permanent tenants include health, aged care, counselling, arts, disability, natural resource management and radio services. More
Visiting Services
Financial counselling, community legal services, drug and alcohol counselling and a myriad of other services are regularly available at the Community Centre. More
Events and Activities
Try something new: dance, sing, tai chi, paint, free diving, meditation, sprituality, games club. More
